Jordan Peterson Voice
Dream Description
(01/10/2023)
I was finding myself in a place resembling a massive aquarium, with its door left ajar. As I watched the door, a shark swam in, but then the entire dreamscape shifted. The water vanished, the aquarium morphed into a house, and the shark transformed into a lion. Realizing the danger, I enlisted someone’s help to lock the lion in a room.
I left the house and walked down the street, noticing an event nearby. It turned out to be one of Jordan Peterson’s conferences. While waiting with the crowd outside, I suddenly heard gunfire. Jordan Peterson had been shot in the side and was fleeing down a street to the left. I followed him to see if I could help and found him near a construction site, with his wife Tammy by his side. Despite his pain, he insisted on delivering his speech. Climbing up the building, he found a megaphone and declared, “If I speak from here, the people at the conference hall can hear my voice.”

Dream Interpretation
The more I delve into my dreams, the clearer my understanding of my subconscious becomes (and perhaps even the collective unconscious). By examining them closely, I can decipher the precise messages these dreams convey. Alternatively, it might be my unconscious mind using me to bring its voice into the conscious world.
“Man’s task is to become conscious of the contents that press upward from the unconscious”
C.G. Jung
Maybe the collective unconscious is attempting to communicate with the conscious world through this website. While this might seem strange and there’s no evidence to support it, it’s a possibility worth considering in our magnificent universe where every possibility should be explored.
This dream doesn’t seem strange to me. However, before diving into my interpretation, let me share my story of encountering Jordan Peterson.
One day, I discovered a book titled 12 Rules for Life on a table in my house. It had mysteriously appeared there. Out of curiosity, I began reading it. Within a few pages, I realized how much I still needed to learn about life. I saw how philosophy could influence our life goals and how our behavior and habits are shaped by our subconscious. I started applying all 12 rules to my daily life and sought out other philosophy and psychology books. This marked the beginning of my journey.
During my journey, I met Jordan Peterson in person and visited Carl Jung’s house. This experience opened the door to a new world for me: the unconscious world.

Returning to the dream, Jordan Peterson was shot by an unknown assailant. He navigated through a street on the left side of the road, symbolizing the unconscious mind in dream interpretation. This path led him to a building under construction, which according to Jungian psychology, represents the totality of the psyche. Despite his profound pain, Peterson discovered a megaphone inside the building, enabling him to amplify his voice.
“There is no coming to consciousness without pain”
C.G. Jung
The dream’s message is clear: we all harbor deep-seated secrets, truths concealed from others and ourselves due to the pain of revelation. However, hiding them perpetuates internal conflict. Instead, confronting these truths is essential to align our conscious and unconscious minds. This transformation was vividly illustrated in the dream’s opening scene, where an aquarium morphed into an apartment. Symbolically, the aquarium represents the personal unconscious (associated with the ocean), while the apartment symbolizes the psyche as a whole (represented by a house or building). The shift signifies the need to bring unconscious elements into conscious awareness. In the dream, this transformation was depicted through the change of a Shark (symbolizing repressed emotions) into a Lion (symbolizing strength and courage). This metamorphosis teaches us that by facing our inner turmoil, we can harness our vulnerabilities and transform them into sources of strength.
“Through pride we are ever deceiving ourselves. But deep down below the surface of the average conscience a still, small voice says to us, something is out of tune”
C.G. Jung
